I found the most amazing pattern… it’s a lacework shawl that has a dragon worked into it- right up my alley!

I ordered the pattern over the weekend and I’m waiting for it to get here. The pattern is by Aurora Alpacas, and it’s so beautifully designed. This is my first foray into true lacework. I’ve never tried anything this elaborate.
I’ve ordered sz 2 & 3 needles from Knit Picks, as well as 4 hanks of Knit Picks Shadow in the Lost Lake colorway. This is a 100% merino yarn that will hopefully be somewhat warm. I really like this shade of green, as it does make me think “DRAGON!!” I can’t wait for my supplies to get here so I can dive right in!
