So the Annie Modesitt corset in Taj Mahal didn’t work out- it got frogged. I’m going to do “Shimmer” from knitty: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter03/PATTshimmer.html

I’m using the dark green Taj Mahal, I think it will be quite nice. I just wish the corset had turned out. I guess when I come into some money, I’ll have to buy the yarn that it is made for, or something closer than the Taj Mahal. TM just stretches entirely too much. It’s a gorgous yarn, however, and I’m looking forward to this newest project!

I’m also most of the way through the Dragones pattern first chart. It’s so much fun, I just need something a bit simpler for a break. I’m also making another scarf using the “So Called Scarf” pattern, so I’ve got quite a few projects on the needles right now- I don’t have time to get bored!

So… I ordered from Knitpicks.com and they shipped very promptly.  Now I’ve been waiting for it to ship for several days.  It’s been somewhere between WV and me since Friday.  It’s scheduled to get here tomorrow, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up.  I’m just tired of wating. 

On another note, my Annie Modesitt corset top is almost done.  I’ve got 25 more rows left, and then 26 buttons to crochet- that will be interesting!  I’ll try to get pics of the progress up tonight!
