He’s got a cubby in the spare bedroom and we’re keeping Scooter and Thomas separated for now. Scooter is slowly adjusting and will already let us cuddle him I’ll try to get pictures soon!

**6:30pm** he’s even purring at us now!!

Alrighty- got Scooter picked up yesterday, been doing ok, but he has hidden under the cabinet and will be… interesting… to get out when I go to leave later.  Just in case, I pulled the leather work gloves out of the garage.  I’m trying food bribery first

I ordered the zephyr yarnage for the shawl I’ve been commissioned to make in emerald, and it’s coming with a free color card, which will be nice. I’m looking forward to that getting here.

I’ve been in Richmond all week because Dad did manage to wreck his motorcycle on Sunday.  He’s got a dislocated shoulder and at least one broken rib.  I’ve been helping him out all week.  It’s been really great to spend time with dad- I really don’t get enough of that…
Today will be interesting.  I’ve been up since 5am, got all my stuff packed and ready to go.  Dad’s got a 7:30am doctors appointment and then I get to drive home and work as much of my usual shift as I can… until 11:30pm. I must be crazy…  I’ll try to make it.

Yay! We tried to adopt a kitty from a group in SW Virginia, but his foster mom decided to keep him :(   Anyway- I was wandering on petfinder and found this cutie: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7978977

How could anyone resist that adorable face? He is 9 months old, so he’s a youngster.  Hopefully he’ll get along with Thomas :)   I can’t wait!

So- I’m working on a triangular shawl pattern that will be basic lacework.  I’ve got a first draft and I’m testing it now- as soon as I know if the design works, I’ll need someone to test-knit the pattern- any volunteers?
